I’m a scientist, software developer, photographer, music creator from Hamburg, Germany. Since my school days I have been using the nickname zykure for most of my software-related endeavours. My creative output is released under my artist name universe momentum. Check out my social media for some examples!
More than two decades ago I started with photography as one of my main hobbies. After getting my feet wet with an analog 35mm film SLR (a Pentax MZ-7), I joined the digital crowd in 2014 with a Pentax K-30 DSLR in APS-C format. Recently I moved on to the micro-four-thirds sensor format, using a Panasonic Lumix G91 as my main camera. I’m mostly interested in landscape, architecture and macro photography. You can find my photos on my Flickr and Instagram profiles.
For a few years now I also have been making electronic music. My current setup includes an ever-growing modular synthesizer in the Eurorack format, along with some digital and analog gear like the Elektron Digitakt and the Korg minilogue xd. My music usually meanders around the baseline of downtempo EDM, but there are exceptions. I publish tracks on Spotify, Bandcamp and SoundCloud, sometimes throwing in a little Youtube video as a bonus.
